Steps For how to make Tawa Masala Powder :

Tawa Masala Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
  • ½ tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • ¼ tsp Fenugreek Seed
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1-inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 Black Cardamom
  • ½ tsp Black Peppercorn
  • 1 tsp Salt

Prepare Tawa Masala

Heat a pan and put coriander seeds, cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds in it. Keep stirring constantly and dry roast them for 2 minutes on low flame.

After 2 minutes, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, black cardamom and black peppercorn in the pan and dry roast on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.

Turn off the flame and let the spices cool down a bit. Once the spices cool down slightly, transfer them to a mixer jar add salt and grind the spices into a slightly coarse powder.

Note:
If you prefer don’t use salt at the time of grinding masala powder, You can ignore it.

Store in an air-tight container in a cool and dry place and your Tawa masala is ready to use.
