This recipe has a very similar appearance and texture to the paneer bhurjee recipe. yet there are so many differences between these 2 recipes. firstly, the masala used in this recipe is a basic spice mix combination of turmeric, red chilli powder and coriander powder. For Paneer Ghotala Ingredients:
- 200 gm. Grated Paneer
- 4 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 1 tsp Chopped Ginger
- 1tsp Chopped Garlic
- 2 nos. Chopped Green Chilies
- 2 nos. Medium Onion Chopped
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 nos. Medium Grated tomatoes
- Salt to taste
- 1 Small Chopped Capsicum
- 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi
- ¼ Cup Fresh Cream
- ½ tsp Garam Masala
- 4 tbsp Grated Cheese
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp coriander Leaves
Making Paneer Ghotala:
To make Paneer Ghotala, firstly grate the paneer, Cheese and tomatoes and keep them aside.
Heat Oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, green chilli and saute for a 1-2 minutes. Add chopped onion and cooked onion until golden brown. Add Coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder saute for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
Add grated tomatoes and mix well then add salt to taste. Add kasuri methi and mix well. Add chopped capsicum and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Add fresh cream mix well and keep running. Add grated paneer, mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame. Add garam masala, freshly chopped coriander leaves, and add water if required and stir well and bring to a boil.
Add butter, and cheese, mix it well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Paneer Ghotala is ready and enjoys Paneer Ghotala with buttery pav.

Note: Boil the milk. Add lemon juice or vinegar, whichever is available to you. Mix well. Turn off the gas flame. The milk will curdle. Strain the solids (chhena) from the water and for making paneer use the chhena.
