For Mutton Marination Ingredients :
- 500gm. Mutton
- 2 Medium Sliced Onion
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 Bay Leave
- 1 Black Cardamom
- 2 Clove
- 1-inch Cinnamon
- 8-10 Black Peppercorn
- 2 Fresh Green Chillies
- 1 cup Curd (Dahi)
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
For Gravy Ingredients :
- 4 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 Medium Onion Sliced
- 1 Green Chili roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds Crushed
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
- Salt to taste
In a bowl add mutton, onion, ginger garlic paste, bay leaves, black cardamom, clove, cinnamon, black peppercorn, green chilies, Dahi(curd), salt to taste, turmeric powder, coriander powder red chili powder, and mix everything properly then keep aside for at least 1 hour or overnight in the fridge.
In a handi heat ghee and add cumin seeds, sliced onion, green chili and sauté it properly until golden brown. Now add the marinated mutton and saute it properly until the mixture starts to thicken and the ghee starts separating. cover & cook for 10 mins on low heat.
Then add crushed coriander seeds and saute for 3-4 minutes then add water, salt to taste and cover it with a lid and cook until the mutton is completely cooked.
Remove the lid then add chopped fresh coriander leaves and stir it once. Mutton Beliram is ready for serving. Switch off the flame, serve hot on a serving plate, and then garnish with ginger julienne and coriander leaves.
Serve hot with garlic butter naan.
