Steps For how to make Kadhi Pakora Recipe :
For Pakora Ingredients :
- 1 cup Besan (Gram Flour)
- 1 Large Chopped Onion
- 1 nos Green Chillies
- 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- ½ tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Water as required
- Salt to taste
For Kadhi Ingredients :
- 2 cup Curd
- 2 tbsp Besan (Gram Flour)
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Sugar
- ½ tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- ½ tsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
- ¼ tsp Fenugreek (Methi) Seeds
- 1 tbsp Chopped Garlic
- 1 Large Onion
- 1no Green Chilli
- Pinch of Hing
- Salt to taste
For Tempering Ingredients :
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 2 nos Red Chillies
- 10-12 nos Curry Leaves
Making Pakora
In a bowl take besan, and onion and mix together with all ingredients. Make a thick batter. Then accordingly add water as required to make a thick batter. You can also skip adding water if the mixture is too moist.
Heat oil in a deep Pan and add small dollops of the batter to make pakora. Cook them on slow heat till they are evenly cooked and light brown on both sides. Remove and keep aside.



Making Kadhi
Take another bowl to add curd, besan (gram flour), turmeric powder, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, coriander powder, sugar and salt to taste. Add water as required, whisk well to avoid lumps and keep aside.
Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan. Add cumin seeds, a pinch of hing and fenugreek (methi) seeds. Add chopped garlic, sliced onion cook till translucent. Add green chilli.


Add prepared curd mixture to this stage. Whisk well to avoid curdles. Cook the kadhi for 10-15 minutes on low flame It’s consistency should be thin, add the prepared pakoras and cook for 2-3min.


Tempering
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and Whole red chili sauté and add into the hot kadi.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
